In 2007 I started at Ghost Performing Arts School in Villa Martin taking part in Dance and Drama classes, during my time at Ghost Performing Arts School I performed in many shows where I learned stage performance and acting techniques.
I joined various classes in dancing, singing and acting and partook in many courses, such as Musical Theatre summer schools, where we performed many musicals such as Grease, Oliver, Annie, etc…
My dancing also improved, which inspired me to start dancing different styles of dance
While at Ghost I met Jay Marwick who taught Flamenco and Latin. I started private lessons and eventually started dancing in his Fusion Shows, a show which incorporates a modern interpretation of Flamenco and Latin to create a modern Spanish Dance Show.
Dancing with Jay enabled me to perform in many venues and festivals across the Costa Blanca with the opportunities to perform at the Benidorm Plance and a cruise ship while it was docked at Barcelona. In 2015 I had the amazing opportunity to go on tour with Compania de Flamenco JM to England for two weeks and performed in stunning venues such as the Lyric theatre in the West End.
I started singing with Nigel Hopkins in 2011 and performed in various Melody Makers International shows singing a variety of songs including ‘On my own’ from Les Miserables and ‘As if we never said goodbye’ from Sunset Boulevard.
One of the current shows I am in, is a tribute to Bette Midler called The Show Girl Must Go On. Carla Stone performs as Bette Midler while I perform as one of the Staggering Harlettes. More recently we have put together a show based on the film Burlesque, again utilising my dancing, with the opportunity to create all the choreography in the show.
